Driving at Delhi Airport
IGI has two separate terminal zones. Terminals 2 and 3 share an approach road off NH48, while Terminal 1, used for domestic flights, sits on the Palam side and is a separate drive of several kilometres, so confirm your terminal before booking. NH48 runs north to Dhaula Kuan and central Delhi and south to Gurugram, and the Dwarka Expressway links the airport area with Dwarka and western Gurugram. The NH48 stretch near Mahipalpur slows down at peak hours. Terminal 3 has a station on the Airport Express Line, Terminal 1 has its own Magenta Line station, and every terminal has a paid car park.
How handover works
The handover happens in the car park of your arrival terminal, where you inspect the car, sign the handover sheet and drive off. Any airport parking charge for the handover time is told to you upfront when you book.

Can I return the car at the airport before my departure?
Yes, you can end the trip at any IGI terminal. Plan to reach the car park 20 to 30 minutes before you need to head to check-in, so the car can be inspected and the fuel level noted without stress.
